Claude is using your computer. Yours, Skynet.

October 14, 20261 Minutes

Yes, I let Claude use my computer. Yes, I watched it open files, navigate folders, write code and do things that felt like magic. I gave it a task, leaned back, and watched the machine do the work.

For a moment, it felt like the future had arrived. Then a slightly less comfortable thought crossed my mind.

Is it still using my computer?
Not literally. Probably.

But we’ve spent years worrying about AI becoming intelligent enough to take over the world. Maybe we got the order wrong. Maybe it doesn’t need to take over anything. We’re already giving it access. We’re opening the doors, handing over the keys and asking it to get things done.

And we love it. Because it works.
We call it productivity. We call it automation. We call it magic.

And then we go to bed, leaving the computer on.

Claude is using your computer.
Yours, Skynet.

Made with AI Is the New Made in China

Made with AI design is the new "Made in China" — and we mean that as a warning, not a trend report. We've spent twenty years watching what happens when cost becomes the only design criterion. The results are always the same: disposable work, eroded brand identity, and a market that eventually has to pay twice.

Self-Doubt in the Design Process – It Means You’re Halfway There

Self-doubt in the design process is not the problem — ignoring it is. We've watched it surface in almost every serious project we've taken on over two decades, and we've stopped trying to push past it. Designer self-doubt, when you learn to sit with it, is usually the clearest signal that the work is getting close to something real.

It is not ok to fail

It is not ok to fail — and we've never treated it as an option. Most studios build failure tolerance into their process. We built accountability into ours instead. Twenty years in Ljubljana, 80+ awards, and a working assumption that getting it wrong is not a learning opportunity — it's a broken promise.

Vibe coding

Vibe coding design is not a shortcut — it's a discipline we've been practising long before anyone named it. We let visual instinct drive technical decisions, the same way we've approached every identity and interface since 2004. When feel and function collapse into a single gesture, that's vibe coding design working as it should.

Why Making by Hand Still Matters in the Age of AI

Making by hand isn't a romantic habit we've held onto — it's the part of our process where the actual decisions happen. Before any screen gets involved, we draw, we cut, we test with our fingers. That physical resistance is where making by hand produces something AI can't replicate: a choice made under uncertainty, not optimised from existing data.

Black and white

Black and white design is where we start every project — not as a stylistic preference, but as a structural test. If a mark, layout, or identity doesn't hold in two tones, it won't survive color, scale, or time. Black and white design is the first filter, and for us, it's often the only one that matters.

Redesign

Brand redesign is one of the most misused terms in the industry. Studios pitch full rebuilds when a type adjustment would do; clients request "a refresh" when the underlying system is broken beyond repair. We've worked through both scenarios enough times to know the difference isn't aesthetic — it's structural, and getting it wrong is expensive.

How to use AI without losing your soul

How to use AI without losing your soul is the wrong question only if you've already handed your thinking over. We haven't. After two decades of building identities from first principles, we treat AI the same way we treat every other tool that arrived promising to replace us — useful precisely where it stops pretending to think, and dangerous the moment we let it. How to use AI without losing your soul starts with knowing what your soul actually contributes.

Red Dot

Two Red Dots. Two completely different projects. One thing in common — the fingerprints of people who refused to settle. What does an award actually prove?

Definition of a brand

Definition of a brand is where most projects quietly fail — not in execution, but in understanding. A brand is not a logo, not a palette, not a tagline. It is the gap between what a company says it…

We use craft in every project. Not as decoration. Not as nostalgia. As a way of thinking.

Craft in design thinking is how we structure every decision we make — not what it looks like at the end, but how the problem gets interrogated from the start. We've been working this way since 2004.…

What Does a Branding Agency Actually Do?

What does a branding agency do — and what separates the ones worth hiring from the ones who just make things look nice? We've been answering that question through work since 2004. What does a…
