How to use AI without losing your soul
AI becomes dangerous the moment it becomes your first step instead of your second. If you start with AI, you skip your brain—the one trained to think, struggle, and solve. And that’s the part that actually makes something yours. Because AI is trained on everything, it drifts toward the average. Feed it noise, and it gives you polished bullshit back.
Where AI actually matters
AI is powerful only when it expands your ideas.
Use it to explore directions you wouldn’t reach alone; generate volume, not conclusions; and challenge your assumptions, not replace them.
It’s a friend that talks back. A way to test ten ideas instead of one. But that’s all it is—a test. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Tools don’t separate you. Taste does.
We’re entering a world where everyone uses the same tools, asks the same questions, gets the same answers.
That means tools stop mattering. Taste becomes everything. AI can show you infinite options. But it cannot tell you what matters. But it will tel you haw good you are and how good the idea is. But is it?
It cannot choose the one idea that carries your weight, your risk, your legacy.
The one that actually hits. That decision is still yours.
Why skipping the struggle kills your voice
Your voice is not something you “find.” It’s something you build—by doing. By choosing. By failing. By not knowing. When you remove that process, you remove the the most important part: you.
AI already has the easy answers. If you only follow those, you’ll sound like everyone else who did the same.
How to use AI without disappearing
Think first and sketch. Use AI second. Decide last. Start messy. Write your flow of thought. Sketch something fasty—on paper, not on a screen. Then bring in AI to react to you, not the other way around. Use it to push, test, and refine.
But never let it make the core decisions.
The line you shouldn’t cross.
You should always be able to say: “I made this. AI just helped me push it further.”
Or at most:
“…and fix my spelling.”
If you can’t say that, you’ve already gone too far. AI should make you more you. If it starts replacing you, it’s not a tool anymore. It’s a shortcut. And shortcuts don’t build anything worth remembering.
AI becomes dangerous the moment it becomes your first step instead of your second.

I’ve seen inspiration exploding to space
Creative inspiration process defies all attempts at control or scheduling. After two decades running Visual Brain Gravity in Ljubljana, I've learned that breakthrough moments arrive precisely when you stop chasing them. The creative inspiration process demands patience, endless walks, and acceptance of sleepless nights filled with spinning ideas.
What is the one positive impact the brand wants to have
Most brands begin with what they want to say. Better brands begin with what they want to change. So the question is not what visitors see, click, or remember. It’s what shifts—subtly but permanently—after they leave.
If You Were Ever a Developer, This Is Your Time to Return
Developers returning to coding face a transformed landscape where technical mastery matters less than vision. The quiet shift happening now favors those who stepped away—developers returning to coding discover their foundational thinking remains valuable while tools handle the complexity.
How Much Does Branding Cost?
Branding cost confusion happens when clients focus on price instead of value. Most businesses ask "how much does branding cost" because numbers feel concrete while branding cost confusion makes the intangible feel uncomfortable.
What Does a Branding Agency Actually Do?
What does branding agency do that makes it different from design work? Most companies discover this too late, after they already have visuals but lack direction. What does branding agency do is define strategy before creating design systems.
