How do you honor a design legend who shaped your entire career?
Brand identity design Ljubljana requires understanding creative communities and their digital evolution. When legendary design platform Netdiver needed resurrection, we approached this brand identity design Ljubljana project as surgical precision work — complete digital identity speaking to both 1998 discovery culture and 2024 creative communities.
Client: Netdiver
The legacy
Carole Guevin created the design blog that featured the world’s best creatives before anyone knew their names. When she decided to resurrect this legendary platform, the brief became deeply personal: create something that honors groundbreaking history while moving forward.
The mark
We built a wordmark that balances clean typography with subtle digital references, refusing both nostalgic pastiche and aggressive modernization. The black and white foundation with selective color accents maintains the blog’s original aesthetic DNA while functioning as contemporary editorial voice.
Outcome
Netdiver returned with an identity that respected its curatorial authority while attracting a new generation of designers.

Resurrecting a design legend without destroying what made it matter.
The Why behind Netdiver’s resurrection is personal: Carole Guevin created the platform that introduced me to design’s best minds before they became household names. The What — complete digital identity for a legendary creative discovery platform — required surgical precision between honoring 1998’s discovery culture and serving 2024’s creative communities. The How: a wordmark that balances clean typography with subtle digital references, never screaming its heritage but never hiding it either. The Values are curation over noise and discovery over algorithm.
The Design works because it refuses nostalgia while respecting history. The mark functions across digital platforms without losing its character — essential for a brand built on featuring other people’s work. This is not about recreating 1998’s aesthetic but translating its spirit into contemporary form. The Story is continuity: the same editorial eye that once discovered tomorrow’s stars now operates with today’s tools, and the identity reflects that evolution without apology.
