When does a communication center need its own typeface?

Custom typeface design Ljubljana demanded precision beyond standard font solutions for HCC’s hybrid positioning. We developed bespoke letterforms that speak both digital and traditional communication languages, creating custom typeface design that no competitor could replicate.

Client: Hybrid Communication Center

The brief.

HCC operates in the hybrid space between digital and traditional communication. Their identity needed to reflect this duality, but existing typefaces anchored them to one approach or the other.

The typeface.

We built dual-nature characters with digital precision but analog warmth. Each letterform was crafted to flex between contexts without losing character, creating typography that reads cleanly on screens yet maintains texture in print.

Outcome.

HCC now owns a visual voice that’s completely distinctive, with their custom typeface serving as the foundation for all communications.

Custom typeface design when your positioning demands letters that don’t exist.

The Why behind HCC’s custom typeface: no existing font could handle their hybrid positioning between digital and traditional communication without picking sides. The What — bespoke letterforms built from scratch — solved what font libraries couldn’t. The How: dual-nature characters with digital precision but analog warmth, crafted to flex between contexts without losing their core character. Each letter reads cleanly on screens yet maintains the tactile quality needed for traditional media. The Values here are specificity over convenience and craft over compromise.

The Design works because the typeface doesn’t try to be universal — it’s built for one client’s exact needs. When you operate in hybrid space, your typography needs to speak both languages fluently. That’s the Story — letterforms that give HCC something no competitor can replicate, because no one else has these exact positioning challenges or this specific solution.
