How do you create an identity that turns advertising into a movement for change?

The brief

Volontaire needed an identity reflecting their activist approach to advertising. We focused on their name—literally “volunteer” in French—as the foundation for positioning engagement and real change over campaign metrics.

The mark

We built the entire identity around typography, refusing decorative elements that might dilute their message. Bold letterforms scale from business cards to billboards while maintaining activist intent throughout every application.

Outcome

The identity positions them as change-makers with commercial clout, proving activist branding drives both meaningful impact and business results.
