How do you rebrand a 50-year-old pet company without losing its family heritage?
Pet brand identity design requires balancing heritage with modern appeal. Visual Brain Gravity developed Varda’s complete pet brand identity around “Unconditional” — celebrating five decades of treating pets as family.
Client: Varda
The brief.
Since 1974, Varda has been a family business treating pets as family members. After five decades of growth, they needed a brand that honored their pioneering spirit while speaking to modern pet owners. The challenge was balancing heritage with evolution.
The identity.
We built the brand around “Unconditional” — the bond between pets and families. Clean typography paired with warm, human photography creates an approachable system. The visual language celebrates both the animals and the people who care for them.
Outcome.
Varda now speaks with clarity about their mission: caring for unconditional companions. The rebrand positions them as experts in pet care while staying true to their family values.
