How do you make bank contracts readable for actual humans?

Legal document design projects demand transforming impenetrable legal text into accessible communication. Visual Brain Gravity redesigned Raiffeisen Bank’s contracts, proving that legal document design can be both legally sound and genuinely human-friendly.

Client: Raiffeisen Bank

The brief.

Legal documents are notorious for being incomprehensible. Dense legal language meets terrible typography. Raiffeisen wanted to change this—create contracts that people could actually understand while keeping them legally sound.

The design.

Working with the bank’s legal team and CX experts at Behave, we stripped away jargon and redesigned the layout completely. Clear hierarchy, plain language, logical flow. One page instead of dozens. Still legally binding, finally human-friendly.

Outcome.

Customers can now understand what they’re signing. The bank reduced queries and built trust through transparency.

This is the state of legal documents, as they usually look. They are hard to understand (legal language) and hard to read (graphic design). The redesign took some extra effort to make it successful and easy to understand.
