How do you make plant-based dining feel warm and approachable instead of preachy?
Restaurant brand identity for Maha Bistro showcased how thoughtful design transforms plant-based dining experiences. Visual Brain Gravity developed a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant brand identity that positioned sustainable cuisine as delicious first, avoiding typical health food aesthetics.
Client: Maha Bistro
The brief.
Maha needed an identity that would attract curious diners, not just committed vegans. The challenge was positioning sustainable cuisine as delicious first, virtuous second. We had to avoid the typical green-heavy aesthetic that screams “health food.”
The visual warmth.
We chose earthy terracotta and warm beige tones that feel more Mediterranean than militant. The wordmark balances organic curves with clean geometry. Every touchpoint emphasizes comfort and flavor over lectures about sustainability.
Outcome.
Maha opened to full bookings and expanded within eight months. The identity attracted mainstream diners who return for the experience, not the cause.
