The concept.
Domfrca was the old train that pulled miners from the shafts — a symbol of hard labor and struggle. The festival needed an identity that honored this history while transforming its meaning. We took the industrial heritage and rebuilt it as a symbol of creative emergence.
The visual system.
We literally reconstructed the train from scrap metal parts, creating a modular visual language. Raw textures and industrial typography reflect the mining past. The fragmented, assembled aesthetic shows creativity rising from industrial roots — old parts forming something entirely new.
Outcome.
The festival gained a powerful identity rooted in authentic local history. The scrap-built aesthetic became a symbol of transformation — from industrial hardship to creative celebration.
